Roles & Responsibilities:
'- Weblogic/WebSphere/IBM MQ
Installation, configuration and administration of weblogic, SOA, OBIEE, IBM WAS
High-availability design, configuration, and maintenance, including clustering and load balancing for WebLogic
Develop shell/Bash scripts to execute daily weekly monthly and yearly maintenance work.
Provide level 3 production support for integration solutions in production environments
Gather and analyze requirements from development teams to design, deploy and support of various enterprise middleware technologies
Enhance Middleware and Integration operating procedures and engineering patterns.
Troubleshoot issues faced by applications, error debugging and thread dump analysis of problems occuring in the platform
Coordination with Vendors and service providers
Capacity management - monitoring data growth, implemeting adequate procedures around Log rotation/retention along with verification and update
Integration of webserver with Apache Tomcat Application server
Carry out standard administration tasks not limited to Certificate Implementation, setting JVM parameters, configuring SNMP monitoring agent and Performance tuning
Develop plans associated with upgrading or patching Middleware environments and coordinate with diverse group of customers.
Monitor and analyse repetitive Incident, Alerts and provide long-term fixes, implement automation to achieve incident & alert reduction on an ongoing basis
Risk Analysis and providing mitigation planning
Continual Service Improvement Planning and executions
Create and maintain adequate documentation in form of SOP and knowledgebase, implement industry best practices
Implement disaster recovery mechanisms, prepare documentation and carry out restoration or DR drill exercises in coordination with application teams
Perform and follow standard procedures around Incident / Request Fulfillment / Change management activities including Preparation of RCA for Major Incidents
Secondary Responsibilities :
'- Participate in Transaction middleware automation activities and take lead to identify the opportunities to automate BAU (business as usual) and project task that can be automated.
Communicates in manner that is appropriate for the situation and possesses the business acumen necessary to communicate how technical design decisions affect users and budgets.
Develops detailed documentation for environments where individual is primary project lead or application Subject Matter Expert and capable of training others on particulars of those environments.
Capable of developing and executing test plans on emerging technology or new middleware functionality.
Act as a role model and positive influence for colleagues
Lead and drive Vendor support teams
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities :
